Hosting and technical information

When a visitor requests a page, the hosting and network services used to deliver the site may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, request time, and requested URL for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Review the current Cloudflare privacy terms and logs available to the site owner before publishing the final policy.

Analytics

Google Analytics is not configured in this repository yet. If GA4 is enabled, this policy must describe the measurement settings and relevant Google data practices, and any required consent choices must be implemented before tracking begins. Do not describe analytics as active until a real GA4 measurement ID is configured.

Advertising and affiliate links

Advertising scripts are not active by default. If advertising is approved and added later, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their policies. Affiliate links may record that a visitor followed a link or completed a qualifying purchase. Add accurate vendor names, relevant disclosures, and the current opt-out/consent mechanisms before activating monetization.

Cookies and consent

Before targeting visitors in the UK or European Economic Area with services that require consent, configure a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) appropriate to the site's advertising and analytics use. This website does not currently claim that such a CMP has been configured. Do not rely on this policy text as a substitute for a functioning consent interface.

Contact messages

If a visitor emails the editor after a monitored inbox is configured, the information in that message will be used to respond, investigate a correction, or handle the request. Set an appropriate retention practice and publish the monitored contact address before launch.

Third-party links and children's privacy

Articles may link to third-party sites, including horticultural references and product sellers. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This site is general-interest content and is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children.

Your choices and updates

Rights and controls depend on a visitor's location and applicable law. Update this policy whenever data practices change. The contact inbox is not configured yet; add the monitored address in site.config.mjs before launch.
